Garment: Bomber Jacket

This is a lightweight comfortable jacket designed to show off one of your favorite new fabrics designs when you want to keep the fabric in one piece rather than cut it up. It can have batting or not as desired for comfort. It is suggested you quilt the lining. The construction is very simple for beginners through advanced level of sewers.
Take your measurements in your undergarments and allow 6" of ease in the body and round the sleeve for lightweight to medium garments under the jacket. Go to a bigger size if you are going to wear heavier garments or sweaters under the jacket.
Fabric:
Outer and lining: 3 1/4 yards
Batting: 3 1/4 yards
Interfacing: 1 yard
You can use fabric with a casing and elastic or rib trim for collar, waistband, and sleeves. Matching thread.
