Layer Cake Crazy Quilt
Day One: cutting/sorting fabrics, begin sewing (depending on individual student pace)
Day Two: Finish assembling pieces, pin/fix sandwich. begin quilting
Supplies:
-1 or more Layer Cakes or 42 assorted 10"x10" squares of fabric
-1 or more packages of Crazy Quilt Paper by Lori Holt
-cutting mat (10"+) and rotary cutter
-Sewing machine in working order, with a standard sewing foot, 1/4" foot, and ditch-quilting, free-motion, or walking foot (depending on desired quilting method.
-batting and backing 4" larger than final top size (this can be purchased in-store after top is completed)
-20"x20" fabric sandwich to practice quilting methods
