With a lifelong passion for textiles, Deborah Edwards has been surrounded by fabric and design from an early age. Growing up with parents in fashion design, Deborah’s fascination with vintage textiles and lace blossomed into a remarkable career. After earning her degree in textile design from the Ontario College of Art and Design, she spent over two decades as VP of Design for an international firm, where she created fabric, bedding, wallcoverings, and area rugs — even designing exclusive collections for celebrities like Martha Stewart and Jaclyn Smith.
A long-standing member and chairholder of the Color Marketing Group, Deborah has been a leader in shaping color trends across the industry. Eager for a new creative challenge, she embraced the role of Design Director at Northcott Fabrics, where she continues to craft stunning collections that inspire quilters and makers worldwide.
