Sweetwater is a family-run design company based in northeastern Colorado, rooted in a rich tradition of quilting and creativity. Launched initially as a spin-off of Farmyard Creations—a quilt company established in 1985—Sweetwater has evolved into a beloved name in the quilting community, known for its fresh, modern fabric collections and charming patterns.
In 2008, Sweetwater returned to its quilting roots and began designing fabric for Moda Fabrics, debuting with the popular “Authentic” collection. Since then, they’ve created over fifty unique collections, each reflecting their signature style: clean, contemporary design with heartfelt details. In addition to fabric and patterns, Sweetwater is known for its highly sought-after personalized quilt labels, helping quilters add that perfect finishing touch to their handmade treasures.
From their studio just outside Fort Morgan, Colorado, the Sweetwater team continues to inspire creativity with every design.
