Sweetwater fabric collections are known for their clean, modern style and heartfelt design details. As a family-run design company, Sweetwater brings a fresh, contemporary approach to quilting while honoring a deep-rooted tradition of creativity and craftsmanship.

Based in northeastern Colorado, Sweetwater began as an extension of Farmyard Creations, a quilt company founded in 1985. In 2008, they returned to their quilting roots by designing fabric for Moda Fabrics, launching with their popular “Authentic” collection. Since then, they have created over fifty collections that continue to inspire quilters around the world.

Their signature style blends simple, modern layouts with meaningful touches—making their fabrics ideal for quilts, home décor, and everyday sewing projects. Sweetwater is also known for its personalized quilt labels, adding a special, lasting detail to handmade creations.

From their studio near Fort Morgan, Colorado, the Sweetwater team continues to design collections that celebrate creativity, connection, and the joy of making something meaningful.
